dang, missed a week. haha
recap of last last week:
the 16th was Carmie's & my brother's bday
the family drove out to woodland hills for his bday celebration
it was held at Maggiano's
it was a pretty nice looking Italian restaurant
and... that's pretty much it

tuesday
i had lunch at Thai BBQ with Pam & Max
Joseph calls me & we invite him to eat with us
after lunch, Pam & Max go back to Burbank
and Joseph & I go to Doug's house to pick him up
unfortunately, he wasn't home
so we ended up just chillin on his porch talking about our stresses
finally Doug gets home & we chill a little long at his place
once we were ready, we all headed over to Marianne's house
they played guitar & then we went on stumbleupon.com
that website is addicting

thursday
craving The Boat
so Pam, Max, and I head out to Rowland Heights
we pick up Rex & we drive to the restaurant only to find out that it is closed!!!
gahhh the madness
we traveled all the way to Rowland Heights for The Boat & it was freakin closed
but whatever
we ended up going to Coconut Bay
i didn't quite like what i got to be honest
but the restaurant itself was really nice
it was kinda awkward though because for the longest time, we were the only ones eating there
after lunch/dinner (it was around 4:30ish when we ate)
we hit up a nearby mall where I finally bought my grey pants
I am so happy
plus it was only about $13
such a steal
we continued to walk around the mall & when we were done
we went to Guppy's because Pam was craving the shaved ice dessert thing
im not the biggest fan
considering i don't really like fruits
but i ate some anyway
Rex was acting like my dad telling me to eat my fruits
all of a sudden, out of nowhere I start to sob up while eating a strawberry
i really don't like raw strawberries but it was no reason to cry over
i guess i was just highly emotion
lately i've been really stressed out money & debt
i think it's gotten me into a little funk
but anyways, after that embarrassing incident, we dropped Rex off at home & we headed home as well

friday
i wake up to two texts
one from Giaan & the other from Mark
apparently G was heading up to my area & they wanted to hang out
so we all meet up at the Burbank mall & eat dinner at Kabuki
G was really craving some sort of dessert & she mentioned gelato
they googled gelato places near burbank & we found one on Tujunga
it was quite the adventure trying to find that place but we finally got there
the place was called Gelato Bar & it was small but had a very homie feel
we got some yummy gelato & talked for awhile
then we called it a night

saturday
finally a beach day
everyone meets up at Jared's house & we head out
we went to Santa Monica
it was hella crowded but we still had fun
after we were done with the beach, we walked the promenade
i love the street performers, but unfortunately no one really caught me attention
we had dinner at Barney's Beanery
i loved the atmosphere and they way the place was set up
Pam & I found a couple of arcade machines & played Area 51
one of my favorite shooting games of the past
after dinner, we all called it a night & went our separate ways

wednesday
six flags with the seven+1
we had breakfast at coral cafe
half of our group was more than an hour late
i felt bad for the waitress
we got to the theme park around noon
it was hot, but it was bearable
there were virtually no lines
so we rode almost every ride in there
i liked the new terminator salvation ride
but my absolute favorite is still tatsu
as the day began winding down, we left & headed towards burbank
we hit up empire for wendy's & panda
& we ate infront of the jamba juice
after eating, we played extreme hot hands (??)
that was funny
then we called it a night

thursday
day of rest

friday
woke up super stoked for camping
we drive all the way up to lake cachuma and find out that they are full!
you can just imagine the disappointment and anguish
we were still determined to set up camp so we went to pam's friend's place in UCSB
to research other camp grounds
but everything was full
so we had to come up with a plan B
we ended up renting a room at motel 6 and hanging out with angela's cousin
jared & i were fully intent on setting up the tent inside the motel room
but as we started our mission, we soon realized that it wasn't going to work
fail number 343259876985 of the day
i've actually had quite a few fails this weekend
im not very proud. haha
a motel wasn't quite the same as camping
but it was still super nice hanging out with the circle again
& there was dippin dots!!!!!!!
we spent the night cosmic bowling
we were so cool, we even had glow sticks
once we got back to the room
almost everyone knocked out
it took me awhile to fall asleep... as usual

saturday
the wake up time was 6am
everyone woke up, but no one got out of bed
people finally started moving around 9ish 10ish
we said fairwell to the room & hit up the denny's across the street
we made a pit stop at a beach 7 walked around
we found two dead seals
& i think both were beheaded
quite disturbing i must say
& that ended our camping trip

monday
i went with my eldest sister & her kids to universal city walk
we ate at bucca & walked around a bit
we then hit up burbank to watch UP in 3D
super cute

tuesday
slept all day & night

wednesday
happy canadia day! haha
& we chose to celebrate by going to Disneyland!
it wasn't as hot as i thought it was going to be
& there wasn't as many peope either
the longest we had to wait to ride was about 30 minutes
not bad i must say
we had dinner at rainforest cafe
& i find out that Boys Like Girls/Nevershoutnever/The ready set go were at downtown disney!
i was soooo close to them!
i was super close to ditching the fam to stand in line and watch the concert
but i decided not to
i mean, i already paid for the dland tickets
which we got for $50 each
quite a steal
thanks craigslist! haha

thursday
slept once again all day & night

friday
went ice skating at pickwick with the eldest again & the kids
followed by the anime expo
didn't really do much there
just walked around & looked at all the interesting people
then ended the night with kabuki

saturday
went to the urgent care for my reoccurring eye pain
got an eye drop prescription
then didn't really do anything else

tuesday
today is amanda's birthday!
she went to disneyland without us
boo! haha jk
today was also joel's 2 year death anniversary
so we went to mass then visited the grave site
i still can't believe that it has been 2 whole years
it's so weird
how easily life can be taken away
afterwards, we ate at shakey's
it was my first time eating there
i know... deprived much
following dinner, we had Baskin Robbins
apparently, on tuesdays a scoop of ice cream is $1
sweetness! haha
once i got home, i left with the family to watch the midnight showing of Transformers 2 at Universal
we get there & apparently my sister bought the wrong midnight showing so we ended up trading the tickets in for the 1:45 showing
totally worth it though
the movie was bomb
optimus is the boss
i got home a little before 5am & knocked out

wednesday
i hung out with pam & max all day
the plan was to paint her room
max ended up doing the work
while pam & i played on her Wii & walked her dogs
haha we are very efficient

thursday - friday
don't remember much
probably spent those days with the eldest sister
driving around and such

saturday
hung out with pam & ate jen
we hit up the burbank mall then went to the promenade
it was nice being there again during the weekend
where there was tons of live entertainment on the streets
i was immediately captured by Jim Hanft
he kinda reminded me of Glen Hansard
& Billy Joel, simply because he played the guitar and the harmonica simultaneously
he had a calming voice
& i absolutely loved his stage presence
while singing, he would go on his tippy toes
i thought that that was simply adorable
makes me feel like he really loves what he's doing
& is just so anxious to share his music with the crowd
we left santa monica to pick up max & pam dropped us off
i then asked my eldest sister if she wanted to go with me to visit my friend
she agreed & we left
it was my friend doug's mom & dad's 28th anniversary and garage sale
the event was pretty darn nice
they had servers & everything!
we ended up staying till about 1:30

slept all day...
& i have been updating my music
currently on a more folky/indie high

monday - friday
this whole week went by in a blur
i can't recall doing anything in particular
i spent A LOT of time with my the eldest sister
which was actually kind of nice
oh & she bought me my very first pair of converse
i got the classic white ones
i really like them

saturday
i went to marianne's house for a little celebration
it was her eldest sister's college graduation
& her youngest sister's sweet sixteen
it was really nice hanging out with the 7 plus 1 again
it's been awhile
& of course marianne had a moon bounce
sweet
plus the never ending amounts of food
double sweet
we played spoons, contact, improv, and mafia
i got home around 2

sunday
it's father's day!
& for the first time in awhile we actually had a plan
my mom distracted dad by taking him out all day
they went to Lawry's & we surpirsed him there
all the kids pitched in to buy him a burberry tie
that thing was hella expense! haha
but he loved it, so it was worth it
the dinner was really fun
& i love Lawry's! yummy prime rib
my food was gone in seconds

monday
i think i only got like 2 hours of sleep :/
i drove to pierce to try to crash the 9am physics class
i get there and there are atleast 30 other people trying to get into the class
major bummer
so i bounced & had lunch at the new Pho place by the movie theater
it was funny because they were playing korean music
the food was... okay i guess
not authentic Pho in my opinion
we then went to Concorde because my sister had to sign some papers
after that, since i didn't really get the class at pierce, i went to PCC
while driving, we got a little lost & there was an accident on the freeway so i was late
also, we found a dog walking around on the freeway near the fast lane
i felt so bad for the dog
i really do hope that someone saved that dog
so i get to the door of the class & i hesitate walking in
i was super embarrassed about walking in late
but i finally gathered some courage & turned the knob
but it was locked!!!!
there was a second door so i went through the whole ordeal again & bam
it too was locked
fail
so we drive back home utterly defeated
i was super tired but ate & i planned not to take any naps in order to pass out at night
so we went to the burbank mall
we were super lucky because we kept finding things for super cheap
ten dollars or less cheap
all i got was a shirt though
i don't know, i wasn't really in a shopping mood
& that concludes my week :]

i went all the way to anaheim just to watch Up with the USD fambam
i got there SUPER late, so i only saw a bit of the movie
but then we sneaked into The Hangover
& wow
that movie was so funny
absolutely loved it

i hit up the promenade again with pam, char, and lerma

The Hangover was so good that i watched it again!
i totally forgot about the This Providence concert though :[

friday
drove my sister around

saturday
finally some circle time
ate lunch with pam at costco
then stopped by quinn's house warming
met up with jared & steph to pick up rex
then headed down to irvine for a little kickback
fun stuff!
i am so proud of myself because i didn't fall asleep
(cause i usually do)
the party ended around 1
& i got home at about 3:30 ish
i had a great time
i can't wait for round 2

sunday
i woke up at 2 & started getting ready
Dhrea, my niece, had an audition & i was the driver
the whole thing was interesting
& they said that they'll get back to the parents
while we were out, we decided to eat out
we ended up going to Manna the korean bbq place on olympic
i love that place!
it's like a buffet & you cook your own meat
the highlight of the night was when the table next to us had a birthday celebrant
they sang a techno sounding happy bday
then, all of a sudden the waiter gets on the chair behind the bday girl & uncorks 2 bottles of champagne & dumps it on the girl
everyone went crazy!
it was so funny!
the girl was laughing the whole time
damn, that was sick
after that, we watched Land Of The Lost
it was an alright movie

it was my sister Marjorie's bday
she slept all day. haha
i'm not very surprised
but at night we had a type of family game time
we had special fruit punch made & played games
such as dominoes, blackjack, and uno
it was pretty chill

thursday
i woke up early to go with pam to her school to watch her singing performance
we grabbed breakfast at starbucks and mcdonalds then headed out
their singing final was pretty cool i must say
pam did a great job! :]
afterwards we grabbed lunch at wendy's then she dropped me off at home while she went to the gym
when she was done, she called me & said that there was a short pit stop she wanted me to with her to
so i jumped into the car & we end up visiting chris owen
pam called him to go with us to starbucks & he reluctantly came out
he complained about wearing flip-flops out in public
so cute. haha
we then hit up amc because pam needed to get her schedule
there were quite a few people buzzin around the place
chris & i figure out that there was a Land of The Lost Premier being held there
we spotted this guy who looked really familiar & seemed pretty important
we both truly believed that he was famous
i tried taking a picture of him but it was a fail
ohh well
we left and hit up starbucks then we dropped chris off because he didn't want to hang :[
he was tired
so pam & i went back to my house so she could shower and get ready
when she finished, we left & picked up max, her bf
then we picked up lerma
i thought it was going to be hella awkward
it was a little awkward in the beginning but as we started talking more it felt good
i missed him
i wish things were like they were back in the day
but who knows, maybe we'll be even better friends
so we all hit up santa monica (of course)
we just walk up and down the promenade and ate at the crepe place
i drove lerma home and dropped myself off

friday
i went with my mom to panorama to buy food
then i went with my sister and the kids to see her ex at the restaurant her worked at
i drove and found out he worked at a thai restaurant
our food was comp and it was a little awkward
but that's nothing im not used to
we left and decided to hit up paseo
it's been awhile since i've been there
i kinda missed it
we walked around & shopped a little
i found a dress at urban for $20
so cute! can't wait for the right occasion to wear it

saturday
so today, since my sister's friend bailed on her on going to seaworld i stepped in
i offered to drive
so me, my sister, and the kids left early in the morning
there was absolutely no traffic i got there in about two hours
seaworld was fun & it was made a little more funner by my old friend BL
haha that was quite a twist i didn't expect
we actually spent the whole day & night there
we left seaworld around 10pm
i was getting a little hungry & so were the kids
so we went to the cheesecake factory
because apparently it's open till midnight
crazyness! i did not know that! good to note
so we didn't leave SD till about midnight
i was driving back so i was a tad nervous but i knew i could do it
i tried not to speed too much
in my mind, as long as i was keeping pace with at least one other car i can't be sited for speeding
we got home around 2 & i passed out

sunday
i had lunch and dinner with the family
then i watched another movie online (star trek)
it's my goal to catch up on all the movies that i missed
so far i've seen...
