we went to Bob's Big Boy

our high school math teacher

then we wandered burbank
bumped into Vicky
interesting day

friday
i was suppose to go to the beach today with my sister & my friends
but there was a last minute change in plans
Joseph & i drive to CSUN to pick up Marianne
chill at the Northridge mall because it was hella hot
Amanda & Tommy meet up with us there
then we had dinner at Macaroni Grill
oh how i've missed it
so good
the portions seem to be smaller than before
after, we wanted to watch a movie but we couldn't decide on one
so we end up doing RedBox
it took us almost half an hour to decide on a movie
we got I love you, man
great movie
we watched it at Joseph's house
my sister picked me up afterwards

saturday
yay! finally went to the beach
i went with my sister and her bf
the water felt so good on such a hot day
we didn't stay for very long though
we headed back to burbank & met up with Pam
my sister & her bf bail on us & went home
Pam & I end up watching Ponyo
cute movie
i really liked it
my parents picked me up after the movie
we ended the night at the Gelato Bar

sunday
laundry and packing day
so of course i end up going out for lunch with the eldest, my nieces, Joseph, and Amanda
we went to Kabuki then walked around the burbank mall
then we part with Joseph & Amanda to pick up my mom from work
we run a few errands and finally arrive back at home around 5:30 ish
time to start organizing
two hours later i complain about being hungry & we leave for dinner
we hit up Thai BBQ
yummy stuff
true packing didn't start until after 9pm
i've still got so much more to do...

tuesday
woke up early
tried going back to sleep but couldn't
so i finally got around to watching High School Musical 3
i didn't like it
the first one was the best
then i watched Band Slam with Pam & Max
only did it because it was free
plus i got free fro yo from menchies
there was one really cute scene where the lead character tries to make a move on hi potential
it was super awkward
hence why i loved it
but that's about it
then i went with Pam & her coworker to get some Kogi
i'm not fond of Mexican food at all
but since i was there i tried it anyway
i got a korean bbq taco
it was alright
i ate the whole thing! haha (it was tiny though)

wednesday
the seven+1 outing today!
i met up with Carmie at Ohana where we ate dinner
we knew the guy working at the counter & he hooked it up with a free drink
sweet
then walked around the bbank town center for a little bit then headed to Hahey's house
we then made our way to The Grove to see Michelle Branch
the show started at 8 and we got to the place around 8
but the problem was that there was absolutely no parking!
all levels of the structure was full
but we continued trying to look for parking
we weren't going to miss a free Michelle Branch concert
we already knew we missed the opening act
which was Jason Castro from American Idol
it was twice that the car right in front of us got a parking spot
i was so pissed and frustrated that when it happened to us a second time i started tearing up
but as we turned a corner we spot a car leaving and immediately drove towards it & signalled
at this point, i was crying from happiness from finally getting a parking spot
we make it out of the parking structure and head towards the stage
there was a lot more people there than i thought
our other friends were already there & were situated right in the middle of the immense crowd
we tried to make it to them but to no avail
we stopped trying and just stood as close as we could get
(which wasn't very close at all. plus the steal poles obstructed our view)
after the concert, we all met up & talked for a bit
there was a line for a meet & greet with Jason Castro
the line was pretty long so i decided not to go
but as it started dying down i finally muster up the courage to stand in line
as soon as i got in line, the woman in front of me said that she was the last one
fail. haha
oh well, next time next time
then we separated
all the girls ended up together & we got hungry so we went to in-n-out
i was so happy because i've been craving it for a while now

circle time!
Julian meets up with Pam, Max, and I at my house
then we get Menchies & gas
i end up driving to Rex's house
we get there super late because people lagged it & there was traffic on the 5 and the 10
we all finally meet up & make our way to Newport Beach
as we approached the beach, the sky got grayer and grayer
& the water was pretty darn cold
but we chilled for a bit there anyway
then we hit up Olive Garden for their endless past bowls
we then had dessert at Angela's dorm
it was a homemade pizookie
good stuff
we also played a bit of texas hold'em
i sucked at it
i'm not much of a gambler

sunday
went to church for the first time in a long time
& it was only because my mom "asked" me to go with her
then picked up my dad and had dinner at Chandara
really good thai food in Larchmont
also got a pastry from Crumbs bakery to save for another day
then i met up with Hahey
we rented Confessions Of A Shopaholic from the RedBox
our first time using it
it was really quite an epic moment haha
then we got dessert from Coldstone's & talked for a bit
went back to her place & watched the movie
love the movie
it was my second time watching it :]

discovered that there is a Red Ribbon there
& had dinner at Red Robbin

i saw G.I. Joe with my sister and her bf
the movie was alright

my Tita Olive's bday!
we walk around The Grove & do dinner at Andre's across the street
they had large portions of pasta smothered with sauce
then we bought a lotto ticket
i hope we win

thursday
Amanda picks me up & we hit up the Downtown LA Artwalk
it whole idea seemed pretty sketch but i was determined to try something new
we arrive at Galleria Row in the heart of downtown & the streets were alive with people
we got there kinda late but we were still able to see a good amount of art pieces
the very first exhibit we saw was located within a U-haul truck
from the get go the artwalk was already shaping up to be well worth the risk
we continued to walk around and when we had our fill, we ate at Pete's Cafe & Bar located in downtown
the food was hella expensive
but it was nice eating at a new restaurant
a new business card to add to my ever growing collection
after dinner, we headed back to burbank in search of dessert
i was craving a pizookie but by the time we got there it was closed
then i wanted coldstone's but that was closed as well
so we ended up going to the crepe maker across from the AMC
we barely make it in time before it closed
our plan was to share The Madeline (crepe w/ nutella, bananas, and tiny marshmallows)
but the cook gave us an extra crepe on the house!

although i must say, i didn't like their crepes very much
the bread thingy was crispy
i just found that super weird

dinner with Pam, Stephanie, and Natalie at Daphne's in the Marketplace
followed by a quick Starbucks run

lunch with the aunties
it was straight up Filipino
we had the big ass banana leaves set up as plates and no utensils
messy as heck but oh so good
then spent the rest of the day chillin
& left with enough food to last a few days

pam comes over and chills at the house
at night, kuya michael, ate jenny, pam, and i go to little tokyo town to do dinner
we end up eating at Daikokuya
the line was hella long as usual
while walking around, kuya finds a calbi truck
he buys four tacos
he claims that it's better than kogi
after walking around some more, we head back to the restaurant
we waited a little longer & were finally called
the noodles were good as always
we left the restaurant and called it a night

saturday
wild rivers!!!!
i get a ride to my friend ken's house in yorba linda & was surprisingly the 1st one there
so ken & i decide to go on a little adventure
we went to random stores & we got jamba :]
two hours later, the rest of the people show up
all eight of us squeeze into ken's big ass car & roll out
we finally get to the park around 2:30pm
this was my first time going to a water park since i was seven
it was a little intimidating
so we started slow
we went to the lazy river haha
after riding a few slides, i discover that i really dislike the ones where they shoot you out of the ride
and you dive feet/but first into the water
that was uncomfortable for sure
i liked the slides with the inner tubes
we spent most of our time at the monsoon lagoon
it was basically an imitation beach with wicked waves
to end the day, we relaxed in the jacuzzi
then ran to the lockers to dry off fast
we got a large locker for free too by the way
some guy handed us his locker key
saved us $12
we left the park & headed back to ken's place
his mom prepared a feast for us
there was korean bbq, spaghetti, corndogs, and corn
for dessert we had cookies, some kind of chocolate loaf, and ice cream
everyone thanked ken & his family & headed out to lex's house
we unpacked our things and settled in
we then popped in Chasing Liberty
hate mandy moore but love matthew goode
finally went to bed around 3am

sunday
we then woke up around 8:30 & ate the breakfast that lex's parents had prepared
charisma and i then head out
she kindly drops me off at the cerritos mall where i met up with my mom
we walked around the mall
i bought a necklace and my mom got a ring
we then traveled to glendale because my mom needed to pick up her new glasses
we had lunch at the food court & walked around a little more
i finally get home & just relax for a bit
then i drove to beverly hills to pick up my dad
we get home, and dad cooks steak
yay!!! haha

-i really can't stand it at home anymore... im just not happy... im definitely moving back to SD at the earliest possible move in date.

i've mostly just been chillin at home
waking up way past noon and going to bed way past midnight
watching a lot of television
mostly CSI, that 70s show, family guy, and psych
with a little bit of the discovery channel along with the travel channel
i've also started reading up on drugs
since i am going to be selling drugs in the future
i might as well get a jump on things

thursday
i went to universal city walk with the seven
we had dinner at the food court
marianne of course hooked it up with her employee discount
sweetness
we then hit up jamba juice because carmie had a coupon
we watched The Ugly Truth
it was alright
Gerard Butler's accent weirded me out

sunday
finally got to hang out with pam
it has felt like forever ago when i last saw her
she was suppose to pick me up around 4am
but she calls me at about 10am saying that she got out early
so she comes over & crashes at my house until about 1pm
jared met us at my house
as we were heading towards pam's car, a guy comes up to us asking for $6 for pesticide of some sort
pam & i claim that we don't carry cash
then jared foolishly, but kind of him, gave the man the money
the man said that he would repay him and leave the money in our mail box
the money never came
poor jared
we then drove to Versailles in Encino
i was driving & almost got into an accident
some asshole was trying to beat the yellow while i was making my left turn
luckily i swerved out of the way
surprisingly i wasn't that scared or shocked
i was pretty calm. weird
& jared kept insisting that we were saved because of karma
all because he gave the stranger $6
we finally arrive at the restaurant
the food was alright
nothing else to say about it
after lunch, we cruised venture blvd in search of dippin dots
we got lost several times
leading to a whole bunch of u-turns
we finally end up at the sherman oaks galleria where the holy grail is located
we get prime parking & head towards the food court
as we get closer we see that dippin dots is no longer there!
you can imagine the disappointment we all felt
epic fail #3 of the summer
(#1 circle camping trip & #2 the boat)
we head back to my house defeated
jared goes home
pam & i end up chillin at her house
i watched Blow while pam took a nap
we then had dinner at Taste Chicago with nancy
pam was craving dessert of some sort so we were thinking of places to go
jorden calls her & she invites him to join us
we hang out at max's subway until jordan came
we then agreed upon going to Sur La Table
but on the way, we get lost & end up heading back to downtown burbank
& get starbucks instead
another fail. haha
we then waited for max to get off & then we all went home

tuesday
i had lunch at Thai BBQ with Pam & Max
Joseph calls me & we invite him to eat with us
after lunch, Pam & Max go back to Burbank
and Joseph & I go to Doug's house to pick him up
unfortunately, he wasn't home
so we ended up just chillin on his porch talking about our stresses
finally Doug gets home & we chill a little long at his place
once we were ready, we all headed over to Marianne's house
they played guitar & then we went on stumbleupon.com

thursday
craving The Boat
so Pam, Max, and I head out to Rowland Heights
we pick up Rex & we drive to the restaurant only to find out that it is closed!!!
gahhh the madness
we traveled all the way to Rowland Heights for The Boat & it was freakin closed
but whatever
we ended up going to Coconut Bay
i didn't quite like what i got to be honest
but the restaurant itself was really nice
it was kinda awkward though because for the longest time, we were the only ones eating there
after lunch/dinner (it was around 4:30ish when we ate)
we hit up a nearby mall where I finally bought my grey pants
I am so happy
plus it was only about $13
such a steal
we continued to walk around the mall & when we were done
we went to Guppy's because Pam was craving the shaved ice dessert thing
im not the biggest fan
considering i don't really like fruits
but i ate some anyway
Rex was acting like my dad telling me to eat my fruits
all of a sudden, out of nowhere I start to sob up while eating a strawberry
i really don't like raw strawberries but it was no reason to cry over
i guess i was just highly emotion
lately i've been really stressed out money & debt
i think it's gotten me into a little funk
but anyways, after that embarrassing incident, we dropped Rex off at home & we headed home as well

friday
i wake up to two texts
one from Giaan & the other from Mark
apparently G was heading up to my area & they wanted to hang out
so we all meet up at the Burbank mall & eat dinner at Kabuki
G was really craving some sort of dessert & she mentioned gelato
they googled gelato places near burbank & we found one on Tujunga
it was quite the adventure trying to find that place but we finally got there
the place was called Gelato Bar & it was small but had a very homie feel
we got some yummy gelato & talked for awhile
then we called it a night

saturday
finally a beach day
everyone meets up at Jared's house & we head out
we went to Santa Monica
it was hella crowded but we still had fun
after we were done with the beach, we walked the promenade
i love the street performers, but unfortunately no one really caught me attention
we had dinner at Barney's Beanery
i loved the atmosphere and they way the place was set up
Pam & I found a couple of arcade machines & played Area 51
one of my favorite shooting games of the past
after dinner, we all called it a night & went our separate ways

six flags with the seven+1
we had breakfast at coral cafe
half of our group was more than an hour late
i felt bad for the waitress
we got to the theme park around noon
it was hot, but it was bearable
there were virtually no lines
so we rode almost every ride in there
i liked the new terminator salvation ride
but my absolute favorite is still tatsu
as the day began winding down, we left & headed towards burbank
we hit up empire for wendy's & panda
& we ate infront of the jamba juice
after eating, we played extreme hot hands (??)
that was funny
then we called it a night

thursday
day of rest

friday
woke up super stoked for camping
we drive all the way up to lake cachuma and find out that they are full!
you can just imagine the disappointment and anguish
we were still determined to set up camp so we went to pam's friend's place in UCSB
to research other camp grounds
but everything was full
so we had to come up with a plan B
we ended up renting a room at motel 6 and hanging out with angela's cousin
jared & i were fully intent on setting up the tent inside the motel room
but as we started our mission, we soon realized that it wasn't going to work
fail number 343259876985 of the day
i've actually had quite a few fails this weekend
im not very proud. haha
a motel wasn't quite the same as camping
but it was still super nice hanging out with the circle again
& there was dippin dots!!!!!!!
we spent the night cosmic bowling
we were so cool, we even had glow sticks
once we got back to the room
almost everyone knocked out
it took me awhile to fall asleep... as usual

saturday
the wake up time was 6am
everyone woke up, but no one got out of bed
people finally started moving around 9ish 10ish
we said fairwell to the room & hit up the denny's across the street
we made a pit stop at a beach 7 walked around
we found two dead seals
& i think both were beheaded
quite disturbing i must say
& that ended our camping trip
